CaPT Advisory Group Announced

This week, TNA announced our CaPT Advisory Group: Kate Fryer, Joshua Hoare, Felicia Lannan, Deb Wilks, and Rockie Stone. Designed to ensure that the sector has a voice, and that services are meeting needs, the advisory group will meet quarterly to maintain information exchange and strong engagement between TNA and the broader CaPT industry. Read more.

10 Dec – Women’s Circus – ‘A Room of One’s Own’ Artist Residency
This residency program runs from January to June 2018 and offers women identifying artists working in circus, performance and/or physical theatre up to 2-weeks of free access to the fully-equipped Drill Hall in West Footscray. EOIs close midnight Sunday 10 December 2017. More info.

Circus City at Sydney Festival
Sydney Festival is bringing the circus back to town in January 2018. Circus City returns to Prince Alfred Square in Parramatta – a Festival precinct taking in the Circus Oz Big Top, the Flying Trapeze, Legs On The Wall’s outdoor trampoline playground, and Riverside Theatres. About Circus City.

16 Dec – Legs On The Wall – Parachute Festival
Held on the grounds of the old Parachute Regiment in Lilyfield, NSW, the Parachute Festival runs from 16 – 17 December 2017 and features workshops, performances and more. Day passes and festival passes available, or buy an individual workshop ticket for $20. More info.

3 week pilot program of Autism friendly classes starts TODAY!
Westside Circus has created their first program for people specifically living on the Autism Spectrum. This 3-week Pilot Program is open to anyone 7 years or older and will take place on Fridays from 1 – 15 December in Preston. This class is eligible for the NDIS program. Contact Westside for more info.

30 Mar – Gravity Dolls: Aerial Arts Festival in Collingwood, VIC
The Aerial Arts Festival, presented by Gravity Dolls, will take place from 30 March – 1 April 2018 at Perry Street, Collingwood. Featuring 80 aerial discipline workshops and a world class teaching team of trainers that have performed all over Australia and the world. Find out more.
