19 Aug – Spark Youth Theatre – Ensemble Auditions
An exciting opportunity for 12 – 25yr olds to join the 2019 – 2020 Spark Youth Theatre Ensemble. Small fee on offer. Auditions will be held from 19 – 25 Aug across Sydney. More info here.

28 Aug – Darebin Arts – Let’s Take Over!
This skills development program is for 10 aspiring event producers and programmers aged 15 – 25 years. Budget and program a one day arts festival in Northcote Town Hall. More info.

30 Aug – EOIs to facilitate ArtPlay Signal Artist Learning Lab
ArtPlay Signal (Melbourne) invites artists from all over to submit an EOI to facilitate new artist learning experiences in a peer-to-peer learning program focused on nurturing skills and philosophies that inform youth arts practice.

31 Aug – Open Call: International Productions for Kininso Festival in Lagos, Nigeria 
This international theatre festival runs from 12 – 18 Nov 2019. Accommodation, food and local transportation provided for the period of the festival. Submission deadline is 31 Aug. More info.

9 Sep – Propel Youth Arts WA – Drug Aware YCulture Metro Grant – $3,000
Young creatives aged 12 – 26 are eligible to apply for up to $3,000 for professional development, project support and more. Applications close 9 Sep.  About the grant.

12 &13 Sep – ‘Make Space’ – Youth Arts Summit 2019, Adelaide
The National Youth Arts Summit will be held at Carclew next month. Day 1 is for young creatives (under 30). Day 2 is for all professional arts organisations, cultural leaders, artists, young creatives and policy makers. More info.

22 Sep – ArtPlay workshop: Making stories without words
Explore how design and non-verbal forms of communication can create stories for young audiences. 22 Sep, 10am – 5pm. Tickets: $20. Fill in EOI to apply; applicants will be notified by 8 Sep. Read more.

21 Oct – Register for Sharp Short Dance 2019, Parramatta NSW
Presented by Form Dance Projects and Riverside, the festival invites aspiring choreographers and dancers 21 years & under to display their work in a supportive environment. Entries close 21 Oct. More info.

Arts Centre Melbourne is getting ready to launch Connect – a new program which aims to build the capacity of emerging creative leaders aged 18 – 25. Young Connectors will engage critically, creatively and collaboratively in the development of future programs. Register your interest.
