20 Dec – ACCA: Accademy 2019 applications close this week!
Run by the Australian Centre for Contemporary Arts ACCADEMY is a program for 14-17 year olds wanting to tackle challenging tasks, develop new skills and engage with arts industry professionals including artists, curators, educators and writers. Applications close this Thursday 20 Dec.

31 Dec SEGNI New Generations Festival – Mantua, Italy
Held from 26 Oct – 3 Nov 2019, this is an international art event addressed to children and young people from 18 months to 18 years old. Applications for participating in the next festival close 31 Dec 2018. Find out more.

29 Jan – Apply for ATYP’s Rose Byrne Scholarship and Rebel Wilson Comedy Commission
Open to young female artists aged 18 – 26. The Rebel Wilson Comedy Commission awards $15,000 to an emerging female artist/playwright interested in creating comedy. Rose Byrne is donating $10,000 to support an Emerging Female Leader in Theatre. Applications for both scholarships close 29 Jan 2019. Find out more.

28 Jan – Australian Children’s Theatre Foundation Commission – $20,000
This commission supports the creative development of a new children’s theatre-based work, to the amount of $20,000, specifically devised for primary school students, to the point of being tour ready. Applications are now open and will close 5pm Mon 28 Jan 2019. More info.

30 Apr – Call for Performances: 20th ASSITEJ World Congress – Tokyo, Japan
ASSITEJ Japan has announced the Open Call for international productions for the 20th ASSITEJ World Congress / International Theatre Festival for Children and Young Audiences that will be held in Tokyo from 14 – 24 May 2020. The theme of the festival is ‘Towards the Unknown’. 15 Mar – Open Call: High Fest International Performing Arts 2019 – Armenia
Performing arts companies and artists are invited to present their productions in all genres of performing arts including theatre at High Fest in Yerevan Armenia from 1 – 10 Oct 2019. Applications close 15 Mar 2019. More info.
