8 Jul – Women*s Circus: ‘A Room of One’s Own residency EOIs for second half of 2018
This residency offers women identifying artists working in circus, performance and/or physical theatre up to two weeks FREE access to a fully-equipped training and rehearsal space in West Footscray. Applications close midnight 8 July, 2018, and residencies take place between August and December 2018. More info here.

CaPT interview on Vision Australia
TNA has a monthly segment on Vision Australia Radio’s ‘Behind The Scenes‘ program. Our June slot featured Kate Fryer (Dislocate and CaPT Advisory Group) and Antonella Casella (Circus Oz) talking sector transitions, contemporary circus in Australia and the upcoming Circus Oz show Precarious which opens later this month. Academic and other news
Kristy Seymour has completed a Doctor of Philosophy titled: “Bodies, Temporality and Spatiality in Australian Contemporary  Circus.” A great contribution to our sector. Amanda Lyn from the Crackup Sisters has been awarded a scholarship to continue to help her learn to fly!
