Best Emerging Circus Performer – TNA’s Melbourne Fringe Award
Supported by Theatre Network through the CaPT Initiative, the Best Emerging Cicus Performer at Melbourne Fringe 2019 was awarded to Georgia Deguara – YUCK Circus. Georgia receives a TNA membership and will be mentored by TNA in 2020.

Sep 30 – Spin Circus Intensives at Adelaide Fringe 2020
Choose two specialties from Tissu, Lyra, Partner Acro, Handstands, Contortion, Teeterboard or Hula Hoops. Training runs between 17 Feb – 13 Mar 2020. EOIs close 30 Sep (TODAY!). More info.

14 Nov – TNA’s National CaPT Sector Gathering at Sidesault Festival
TNA’s CaPT Sector Gathering will be held in Melbourne at The Melba Spiegeltent during Sidesault at the Melba in November. Hear from colleagues, TNA, and the CaPT Advisory Group. Save the date and we’ll be in touch with more details soon.

The international training project and Lunar Circus classes in WA
Classes in every discipline will be taught by Trainers from all over the world in Karridale, WA. Open to kids and adults, training is for two weeks: 6 -10 Jan and 12 – 16 Jan, 2020. Earlybird places now open. More info.

1 Nov – Spin Circus Festival and Australian Partner Acrobatic Convention (APAC)
APAC (11 – 14 Jan) and Spin Circus Festival (17 – 19 Jan) will be held in Wensleydale, Victoria at the start of 2020. Early bird deadlines for both programs close 1 Nov 2019.

Dec 1 – Acro: Professional Development Pathway for Emerging Circus Artists
ACRO is a 6 month program to develop skills towards becoming a circus professional. This course is for people of any age who have finished high school, and are serious about starting a career. Applications close 1 Dec 2019. Course details and registrations info here.

Nov 25 – Dec 01 – Australian Circus Festival and Artist Learning Opportunity
The 4th Australian Circus Festival will be held in Brisbane from 25 Nov – 1 Dec 2019. 10 performances over 7 days. Book tickets here. Professional circus artists are invited to book a one-on-one with Stacy Clark from Cirque du Soleil between 1pm – 5pm on Tue 28 Nov. Book here.
