Dates for VIPI Producers Mentorship Program 

There will be two rounds for the VIPI Producers Mentorship Program in 2020 and one final round in 2021.

Dates for Round 2 

15 June – Round 2 EOIs for Producers Mentorship Program opens

15 July – Round 2 EOIs for Producers Mentorship Program closes

03 – 07 August – Interviews with shortlisted applicants

17 August – Participants for Round 2 of Producers Mentorship Program notified

Application Process 

You apply as an individual and you can state if you want to be paired with a specific independent producer, who will also submit their own separate application.

Through the assessment / selection process, the potential for additional one-on-one / small group relationships are identified.

The application process will involve 2 steps:

• An online submission.
• For shortlisted applicants, an interview on Zoom or face-to-face (if health guidelines allow for it) or another platform that is accessible for the applicant.

If you are supporting another independent producer in delivering their work plan, please indicate this in your submission and description of activities.

There are multiple ways you can submit your EOI

–Survey Monkey (in writing). Please prepare your written responses beforehand in the Word Document and then copy and paste into the Survey Monkey.

–As a Video file. You will need to submit your video via an online link, e.g. on YouTube, Googledrive or Vimeo. You will still need to submit some basic written information online, here, along with your video URL.

–As an Audio file. Please upload your audio file to Googledrive, Soundcloud or any other freely accessible online platform. You will still need to submit some basic written information online, here, along with the URL to your audio file.

–Deaf Applicants: You are able to submit a video in Auslan. Please record yourself in Auslan and upload your video to YouTube, Googledrive or Vimeo. You will still need to submit some basic written information online, here, along with your video URL. We will take care of having your video translated.
