Where can I sign up?
For independent artists/collectives/companies, register your interest here.
Bookings close 24 September at 23:59pm AEST.
For independent producers, make sure to add yourself to the TNA VIPI Independent Producers Database.
How it will work
Coaching sessions will be tailored to the independent artists’ needs and can include a wide range of topics, including career planning, business planning, work-life balance support and/or networking advice.
Ten sessions are reserved for VIPI target groups of First Peoples, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse people / people of colour, Deaf and Disabled people and people based regionally.
Apart from this, recipients will be randomly selected.
If you are an independent artist/collective/company and you are selected, we will work with you to pair you with an appropriate independent producer.
Coaching sessions will take place over Zoom or as a phone call or as a physically distanced meeting outdoors.
If you have any inquiries, please contact VIPI Program Producer, Rani Pramesti at firstname.lastname@example.org
More about the VIPI Salon Series
The VIPI Salon Series are professional development sessions, networking and peer learning for the independent performing arts sector.
The Salon Series will focus on responding to the most urgent skills and conversations that we need to be having in the independent producing sector as well as the independent performing arts sector more broadly.
The Salon Series will bring together groups of people involved in the Producers Mentorship Program and the Unlocking Capacity program, as well as other independent producers, aspiring producers, potential VIPI participants, artists and companies.
The program also includes coaching sessions: free one-on-one support for artists with an experienced producer to discuss career planning, business planning, work-life balance support or networking advice.
Salon Series events will commence in November 2019 and run regularly until 2022.
